Neal Gething – Cultivating Personal Wellbeing & Resilience

Neal is a Psychologist who currently works within Central London Community Healthcare, focussing on the optimal development of employees. He specialises in Occupational Health, and is skilled in individual therapy, mentoring, stress reduction and mediation. In the early stages of his career Neal worked at the Hospice Association of the Witwatersrand, working with terminal illness and bereavement. He then moved onto the Adelphic Centre, which focussed on giving high quality therapy remedying trauma, illness, bereavement and psychopathology. He then began a training company called Empowerment Training Consultancy which practiced on the notion that human growth and development occurs when there is an increase in awareness of one’s potential and fortitude. As well as this, Neal has written a weekly column for a National South African newspaper, developed training material, sat on the board of directors for Hospice Wits, and supervised the Masters Psychology students at the University of Johannesburg, where he completed his masters in Psychology. Neal is a fantastic speaker, engaging personality, and is a frequent guest lecturer for training institutions and charity organisations, as well as being a dear friend of Glow at work. We really look forward to hosting him in April.
